So, how can you get a life insurance lead that will actually result in a sale? That is the question that has been in the mind of any insurance agent because even if you do manage to get a bunch of supposedly exclusive life insurance leads for agents, they are as good as nothing if they do not actually yield any profits for your business.

There are many life insurance lead generation companies out there and they sell anything from insurance life leads to final expense or annuity insurance leads. But how do you distinguish between the good life insurance sales leads and those insurance life leads that will just waste your time? There is a proven method that most agents use to answer this question and that is what I will talk about today.

The first step is deciding how much you have to spend to buy insurance leads. If your budget is small, then you may want to consider joining forces with another agent. The reason I am saying that is that, even though you will most likely life insurance lead generation campaign to fit your budget, you will most likely underutilize your hard earned money if you do it on your own. Now back to the method that I was talking about before.

Life insurance leads, in my opinion, should be bought in bulk.     Well, I think that an exclusive life insurance lead is what every insurance advisor wants. But, let’s be prepared for that as it is not so easy to get it and even if we have it with us then also the question remains that how do we recognize it to be the exclusive one.

    You are right Johnston, but there is a question in my mind that why do an insurance advisor will buy insurance leads. What is need of buying such leads which may be fake or of no use sometimes. The field people can generate a better lead if they are sincere and work whole heartedly.

    Rishabh, this is being done due to lack of time availability and increasing competition. You are correct that lead generation can be done by the sales team and that would be more efficient but the time and effort it will take is much more precious for the company than spending some money on these leads.

    Absolutely Kripler absolutely, now it has become a side business type thing for the insurance sector. People have become smart enough to sell their work to the one who needs it more than them. Almost all the companies show their interest to buy life insurance leads.

    I think that the insurance agent lead decides that whether the company will generate profit in the next financial year or not. It plays a vital role in the professional life of an insurance agent. Generating business is however, a different thing than that.

    I don’t agree with you Mr. Sunny. It is not the lead that decides the company’s profit, it is the business that gets generated by these life insurance sales leads or the insurance marketing leads. If the lead doesn’t generate any business then how will the company gains profit, it will just become a flop show.

Is it worth working on generating them or it is just waste of time and I should get myself engaged in some life insurance leads for agents. I just don’t want to get stuck to one thing so I am asking this question.
